I organised the 3 valleys and berber villages trek (3 days) as a surprise for my partners 40th. I wanted big open spaces, peace and tranquil views and importantly a stree-free few days -Jamal and his team did not disappoint! The service from pickup at our riad in marrakech, to meals, the humour, smiles, stories, to finding our (different) riad going back to marrakech - was second to none. Our guide - Ibrahim (Brian); cook/muleteer - Mohammed (Chris) and our mule - Katrina (K'errs) were all fantastic, and extremely patient with my slow steep ascents. And a big thanks to our driver also! This trek is wonderful for big views, huge wide open spaces, the berber villages and way of life, a fanstastic introduction to the Toubkal National Park area. Being just my partner and I and Ibrahim and Mohammed - the peace and quiet was phenomenal. I wouldnt hesitate to use Jamal and his team again, and recommend - all true professionals, thank you for the amazing memories and visuals!!

My boyfriend and I did the three day Toubkal summit climb. The trip was an unforgettable experience that we would (and already have) recommend to anyone. We are glad that we did it through toubkalguide. Everything was well organised and we recieved a warm welcome from Jamal on arriving in Imlil. Jamal was also very helpful prior to our trip - we had quite a few questions and he was very responsive to our emails. Our guide Idris was excellent. Extremely friendly, informative and attentive. The food prepared by our cook, Hussein, was an absolute treat. There are some more expensive and seemingly more flashy tourgroups with whom you can go into the Atlas mountains but we would definitely go with Toubkalguide again.

I was on the 4-day Desert Trek in Early June 2010. A trip to the Sahara Desert is one of those once a lifetime experiences that you will never forget... If you want to escape the cities and see the REAL Morocco, this is the way to do it. Many thanks to Jamal from Toubkalguide.com and our driver / guide Abdul as well as all of the folks we met along the way !!! Le désert du Sahara -- Un voyage à faire absolument !!! Cheers !! Gérin.

10 June 2010 Hi Jamal, Thank you so much for our brilliant 3-day trek up Jbel Toubkal, everything was very well organised, I can't fault it. Our guide Brahim was excellent, and over the course of the trip he taught us much about the Atlas Mountains, the Berber people and even Islam! Thanks also go to our muleer and cook Zuhayr (and Katherina the mule), the food throughout was extremely good and always delivered with a smile. We are 4 reasonably fit 40 year olds and could've managed the 2-day option, but why push yourself that hard? Day 1 was a demanding 6-hours up to the refuge. Day 2 was a tough 5-hours to the summit and back (amazing views) so it was nice to sit on the roof of the refuge and play cards in the sun for the afternoon. Day 3 was a very easy (lots of oxygen!) 4.5 hours back down to Imlil. Tip - there's no need to carry much water between Imlil and the refuge, there are stalls selling freshly squeezed orange juice every hour or so - lovely! A very highly recommended trip, thanks again to Jamal and his team. These guys are good - I wouldn't use anyone else Thanks again for a great trip Cheers Wayne

Jamal, Thank you so very much for the wonderful trip you managed to put together for us! I knew I wanted to be all over the place and see a lot in a few days. You put it together seamlessly! The guides were fantastic, helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable. The riads you chose were excellent and our meals were superb! I couldn't have been happier! When I visit Morocco again, and I will come back, I will certainly ask for your assistance in putting together another fantastic trip! Thank you very much for all your help! Stephanie

Jamal, Thankyou so much for everything! Recently undertaking the Toubkal ascent and then heading out into the desert was the highlight of my trip! The guide were fantastic and especially our driver to the desert and back - handling every request an Aussie and three Englishman could come up with perfectly! (So much so, I believe the Englishmen returned to your guesthouse for another couple of days after!) Thanks again for everything and I will be telling everyone abouyt your company!

6 May 2010 Dear Jamal Just lifting my head above the pile of office work that was waiting for me when I got back from our brilliant father/daughter bonding week in Morocco. Above all I must thank you for your helpfulness and flexibility with having to delay our vist by a week because of the Icelandic Voncanic Ash. Everything went perfectly with additional thanks to our guide Ibrahaim and cook and muleteer Mohammed for the ascent of Jeb Toubkal and our guide Khaled and driver Abdul for the remainder of the trip across to, into the desert and back again. Everyone was helpful and my daughter and I, in addition to the ascent of the mountain and the desert experience, gained a significant amount of knowledge about Moroccan life and culture both past and present. Overall a truly excellent trip which I would recommend to anyone - indeed I have already been busy trying to encourage others to go! Best wishes from Peter & Nerys(AKA Hafida)
